How to Prepare Basketball Defensive Drills?

A Fun Way for Rebounding Improvement
There is a fun way to improve your ability in rebounding. It is a box out circle basketball drill. When your player rebounds, he has to position his back to the defender. It means he should put himself between the defender and basketball goal. It will provide the rebounder a good position to rebound and this way is named boxing out.
To practice these drills with this fun way, instruct your players to make a pair consisting two players and make a circle around the jump circle. One player is a defensive player while the other one is one who plays as an offensive player. For the positioning, the offensive one stands on outside of the pair while the defensive player is standing in a closer position of the court circle.
To run the training for basketball defensive drills, roll the ball into the circle and blow the whistle. In this situation, the defensive player will try to get the right position to rebound by boxing out and prevent the other player to get the ball without fouling. If the ball got by an offensive player, the offensive group will get one point. If there is nobody getting the balls, the defensive group will get one point.
